Halle, Germany – NEUROWERK EMG Devices used at the 3rd advanced training Muscle Disorders
SIGMA Medizin-Technik supported the workshop “EMG and Electrophysiology” with two NEUROWERK EMG devices at the University Hospital Halle, Germany.
The advanced training course “Muscle Disorders” offered the participating medics from all over Germany plenty interesting lectures and supportive workshops. General topics, like guiding symptoms or the possibilities of the most important diagnostic methods were discussed as well as new therapy methods and the progress made in the field of myology. Three workshops provided the possibility to practice the knowledge gained during the course.
The seminar “EMG and Electrophysiology” on the second day was supported by the SIGMA Medizin-Technik GmbH with two EMG devices. About 40 participants were able to experience a needle EMG examination with the remote control NEUROWERK RC which enables an especially simple handling.
First, the lecturers Prof. Dr. Dengler (Hanover, Germany) and Prof. Dr. Kornhuber (Halle/Sangerhausen, Germany) presented 20 participants each the relevant basic knowledge for a good performance, following the EMG examination of several patients. Thorough anamneses were used in order to diagnose myopathies reliably. The NEUROWERK EMG excelled in providing impeccable results using the manual EMG evaluation as well as the automatic software qEMG for multi MUP analyses. Our employees Mr. Neubauer (product specialist NEUROWERK EMG) and Mr. Lehmann (head of distribution Germany) supervised the workshop and answered all questions regarding our products. Furthermore some features of the NEUROWERK EMG, like the different versions as standard PC system or portable system, were presented.
We want to thank the University Hospital Halle as our longstanding customers for the invitation to this event and the confidence in our products which are used as EMG as well as EEG systems in the day-to-day work at the neurophysiological laboratory. Special thanks go to Prof. Dr. Zierz and Dr. Kraya for the succeeded organization of this event.
