Bonn, Germany – the participants of our training partner Plato Academy passed module 2 of 5 in the basic training “Electrophysiology”.
Next to the advanced courses our training partner Plato Academy offers a basic training “Electrophysiology” once again this year. The participants of the two-day basic modules can decide upon single topics or pass all five modules as an extra occupational training.
This year’s basic training “Electrophysiology” started at the end of March 2017 with module 1: “EEG basics”. Based on this knowledge module 2 dealt with “Evoked Potentials” (SEP, AEP, VEP and magnetic stimulation) on 29 to 30 April. Under the direction of advisor Mrs. Aileen Hermann (MTAF) the 16 participants were guided through the topics practically. During different exercises at 3 NEUROWERK EMG devices the newly gained knowledge was applied and deepened. Our colleague Mr. Rolf Bark of our office in Solingen, Germany was on site to answer questions regarding our devices and to acquaint the users with the functions, options and features of the NEUROWERK EMG. The participants were delighted by the easy handling of our devices and were able to work with them independently and safely after a short instruction.
The basic training “Electrophysiology” consists of three further two-day modules which are based on the two past trainings:
• Module 3: 27 – 28 May 2017, Evoked Potentials and NCV of the upper limbs
• Module 4: 01 – 02 July 2017, NCV of upper and lower limbs
• Module 5: 29 – 30 July 2017, NCV of lower limbs and brainstem diagnostics
