Leipzig – SIGMA Medizin-Technik supports workshop at the 9th Hands-on Course Neuromonitoring Leipzig
SIGMA Medizin-Technik supported the EEG workshop and presented the NeuroTrend system for ICU.
Additional to the imparting of basic knowledge for daily intraoperative and critical care, this year’s hands-on course Neuromonitoring was addressed to trends and improvements.
SIGMA Medizin-Technik supported the Workshop No. 3, with the topic “Evoked potentials and native EEG”, by using its new NEUROWERK EEG device. The guidance of the course was under Dr. Reinshagen from Sana Hospital Borna. Participants received a demonstration of the device and the recording of a multi-channel EEG by practical examples. In addition, Mr. Lehmann from SIGMA Medizin-Technik presented the latest version of NEUROWERK EEG with the online EEG analysis “NeuroTrend“. This newly integrated function for long-term monitoring in the ICU can be provided for each NEUROWERK EEG.
“NeuroTrend” is an online EEG trend analysis from the “encevis” EEG long-term monitoring software from AIT. The EEG trend monitor allows a clear presentation of epileptic activity in EEG and therefore it is ideally suited for use in intensive care or monitoring stations.
We thank the organizers of the St. Georg Hospital in Leipzig as well as Dr. Malcharek, Dr. Reinshagen and all participants for the successful event and for the interest in our products.
