Chemnitz – Popular NCV/SEP workshop for beginners and advanced.
On 6th May 2017, SIGMA Medizin-Technik again organized a seminar with the support of the Chemnitz Hospital. This year, the practical course was dedicated to the subject area NCV/SEP. Approximately 25 participants from the region of central Saxony were able to receive one of the coveted places.
For many years, SIGMA Medizin-Technik GmbH has been organizing neurological training in cooperation with our long-standing customer, the Chemnitz Hospital. In May 2017, interested technical assistants from the region of Chemnitz and central Saxony participated in a seminar on NCV/SEP for beginners and advanced. The premises of the Clinic for Neurology at the Dresdner Street in Chemnitz were used for this extensive training.
In the morning, our speaker Dr. med. Steve Dettmann (Head of the Department of Neurophysiology at the Chemnitz Hospital) and Mrs Konstanze Güra (MTA-F) taught the participants, which were divided into three groups, theoretical knowledge concerning our NEUROWERK EMG devices. During the training sessions many of the participants were enthusiastic about the simple operation and the reliable operation of our NEUROWERK EMG devices. Already after a brief introduction, all participants were able to work safely and independently with the systems and immediately generate meaningful results.
They were supported by our German sales manager, Mr. Jörg Lehmann, who answered questions about our NEUROWERK systems and provided exercises for the basic course in neurography. Mrs Güra held the practical demonstration of the SEP investigations, explained their implementation and gave practical tips. Dr Steve Dettmann MD, cared about the participants with advanced knowledge and exercised more complex investigations with them.
We would like to thank all participants for the great interest and positive feedback. We would also like to thank our speakers and the Department of Neurology Chemnitz for the successful event and we hope to soon be able to offer the next course in Chemnitz.
