Kassel, Germany – NEUROWERK at the Clinics of DRK.
On 15th June 2019, the 1st EEG Seminar of the Department of Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology took place at the DRK Clinics Nordhessen in Kassel, Germany.
Privatdozent Doctor Roth and Doctor Matthaei of the Department of Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, DRK Clinics Nordhessen hold the lecturers. In addition, Professor Kursawe from the Sant Josefs Hospital Potsdam-Sanssouci attended as a lecturer.
The basic course was held for general practitioners, clinicians and medical technical assistants. The seminar was divided into theoretical and practical units. Topics included basic activity and norm variants, stroke and epileptic seizures, diffuse and local dysfunctions, anticonvulsive therapy, and epilepsy typical patterns.
The training was fully booked with over 20 participants and was mainly visited by young doctors.
The Micromed Group supported the 1st Kasseler EEG Seminar.
In the optional practical part of the seminar, Mr. Klaus took the opportunity to practically demonstrate the NEUROWERK EEG system to the course participants. At a subject, Carsten Klaus demonstrated placement of the cap, the 10-20 system, and explained artifacts.
Under the guidance of Mr. Klaus, the participants were given the opportunity to test the intuitive operation of the NEUROWERK EEG.
The 1st Kassel EEG Seminar was successful. A second edition of the Kassel EEG seminar is in planning.
