Panama – SIGMA Medizin-Technik organized the first EMG course for professors in Central America.
Together with SIGMA Medizin-Technik GmbH, our local distributor “La Casa del Médico” organized for the first time a training at the University of Panama. The event was supported by our distribution partner from El Salvador, Mr. Benjamin Ramos, who was available as a lecturer for the course.
From 29th to 31st May 2017, SIGMA Medizin-Technik GmbH was able to organize a practical EMG course for the professors of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Panama. Mr. Lars Neubauer (Product Specialist NEUROWERK EMG, SIGMA Medizin-Technik GmbH) and Mr. Benjamin Ramos (Tecnologia Hospitalaria, SA de CV, El Salvador distributor) initially refreshed the necessary basic knowledge with the participants and presented the NEUROWERK EMG as an examination device.
Starting with the investigations of the electro-neurography, further studies of the evoked potentials up to reflex measurements and electromyography, the professors of the University of Panama used the full spectrum of the NEUROWERK EMG.
The university was impressed by the intuitive usability of the NEUROWERK EMG. After a short introduction, the participating professors were able to carry out independent examinations for exercise purposes. The quality of the training was also praised by the university:
„Dr. Jochen Schwind,
The group of professors who received the training felt that the objectives were met.
Lars and Benjamin are excellent teachers and responded fully our doubts and questions
The equipment acquired satisfies our needs for teaching and research.“
