Jena – SIGMA Medizin-Technik delivered the 1500th NEUROWERK EEG system inside Germany.
In June, SIGMA Medizin-Technik reached a new milestone on the way to become one of the most successful German manufacturers of EEG and EMG system solutions. The Department of Neurosurgery of the University Hospital Jena was allowed to accept the jubilee device with a sweet surprise.
SIGMA Medizin-Technik GmbH has been dedicated to the manufacture and development of devices for neurological diagnostics for more than 25 years. The NEUROWERK EEG and EMG systems stand for quality work “Made in Germany” and convince hospitals and medical practices all over the world with their high flexibility and intuitive usability.
Our colleagues Mr. Carsten Klaus (Sales Germany) and Mr. Thomas Schramm (Head of Service Department) were allowed to hand over the 1500th EEG in Germany. The Jena University Hospital unknowingly ordered the anniversary EEG for the Department of Neurosurgery and was surprised by the SIGMA Medizin-Technik with a suitable cake with the form of an EEG headbox. The unique one was made by the company “TortenFantasy” from Zschopau and was handed over by our colleagues on the spot. Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Rolf Kalff (Director of the Clinic for Neurosurgery) and his team were happy about the sweet surprise.
The NEUROWERK EEG will be used both stationary and mobile in the intensive care unit in Jena. By means of the HL7 interface, the device was connected to the clinical information system (HIS) of the university clinic. This ensures the smooth exchange of data between HIS and the central database of the NEUROWERK systems, the NEUROWERK CENTER. The team around Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Rolf Kalff is already looking forward to work with the NEUROWERK EEG.
We would like to thank the Jena University Hospital for the trust they have placed in our products and look forward to further joint projects.
